Our StoryOur Story

Once upon a time — on a warm July 12th, 2020 — two masked strangers met at Socrates Sculpture Park. Despite the PPE, they sat together for hours, having refreshing conversations about art, family and a world in flux. Fast-forward 4 years and 12 bajillion laughs later... April 18, 2024. The no longer 'masked strangers' were on a date night at the Museum of the Moving Image. Or so Rupeshi thought. Manik, with a ring hidden in his sock, was about to make his grandest gesture of all. When they walked into the Museum's theater, they found themselves alone. Then, scenes from their favorite films started playing — starring none other than the two of them. (Ask Manik how he made THAT magic happen!) Finally, in true cinematic fashion, Manik whisked them back to the park where it all began, to ask the big question. (She said OMG yes!) --- We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you all, as you have each played an important role in our stories. See you soon!
