Let's Celebrate!

Tyler and Claire met in a Women and Gender Studies class at Syracuse University entitled "Gender, Militarism, and War". At the end of the semester, Tyler commissioned into the Army and was stationed in Alaska. While Claire thought Tyler was nice and all, she was not about to move to Alaska for some guy from a class, so after graduating SU, she moved to DC. After retiring from the Army and a stint in Korea, Tyler finally moved to DC. He sent Claire an email and they reconnected. The rest is history!
