FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we have listed below, please reach out to your point of contact from the Bahl or Singh families.
Question

When should I arrive in Bali?

Answer

We recommend arriving on Saturday, 23rd May 2026. Landing in the morning or afternoon would be ideal so you can check-in and settle in before the 8PM Sangeet Ceremony.

Question

Do I need a visa for Bali (Indonesia)?

Answer

Visa requirements vary by passport. U.S. and Indian passport holders are eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VoA), valid for 30 days (extendable once). The fee is approximately IDR 500,000 (~USD 35). You may obtain this on arrival or apply online in advance for a smoother entry. Singapore passport holders may enter visa-free for up to 30 days. All travelers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months and a return or onward ticket. Indonesia also requires an online customs declaration prior to arrival, and Bali has a small tourist levy payable before or upon entry. We recommend checking official government sources closer to your travel date, as policies can change.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). The InterContinental Bali Resort is approximately 20–25 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic.

Question

What are the entry formalities when arriving into Bali airport?

Answer

Complete the All Indonesia Declaration form within 72 hours before departure to Indonesia: https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id

Question

Do I need to book accommodation?

Answer

No, you do not need to book accommodation. We are delighted to host all our wedding guests at the InterContinental Bali Resort for the duration of the celebrations. Your stay has been arranged by us from 23rd May (check-in) to 26th May (check-out). We can’t wait to have everyone together under one roof. Just book your flights and bring your best energy!

Question

How do I get to the Hotel?

Answer

We will be arranging airport pick up for all guests. A car and driver will be waiting at the airport with a wedding welcome sign! The airport is approximately 30 mins away, depending on traffic.

Question

What are the hotel check in and check out timings?

Answer

Check in is at 3pm and check outs are at 12 noon. Any other requests are subject to the hotel’s availability and accommodation.

Question

Can I extend my stay?

Answer

Of course! If you’d like to arrive early or stay longer beyond 23-26 May, please coordinate directly with the hotel (subject to availability).

Question

Is there a dress code for each event? Do I need to wear Indian outfits?

Answer

Yes! Each event has its own theme and dress guidance listed on the Schedule page. Indian attire is encouraged for traditional events (Sangeet, Wedding Ceremony), but it’s absolutely not required. Wear what makes you feel confident and festive.

Question

Are hair and makeup services available?

Answer

Yes, we have these services available onsite at the hotel. They are complimentary on a first come, first served basis. Please note that this is a dry salon so please come with your hair washed.
