Rachel’s best friend from Tulane. Laura lived two door rooms down from Rachel when they started freshman year and Rachel was lucky enough to have her living close by in Chicago until very recently.

Rachel’s best friend from growing up in Maryland. Rachel and Megan have been friends since before memory. They now see each other fairly often through frequent Disney adventures.

One of Rachel’s besties from vet school. Rachel met Ariel through a connection of other friends during the early weeks at UF. Ariel quickly became a workout buddy and great motivation during the stressful vet school days.
Hayley Bird

One of Rachel’s besties from vet school. Rachel and Hayley met during a trip to Clearwater Marine Aquarium where they got to “swim” with an orphaned baby dolphin. Hayley’s become one of Rachel’s adventure buddies and they’ve taken a few amazing trips together.

One of Rachel’s besties from vet school. Mary Cate and Rachel met during vet school orientation and have pretty much been friends since! Mary Cate’s exotic knowledge is a lifesaver for Rachel when the unusual creatures end up in her care.
Jess Fuller

One of Rachel’s besties from vet school. Rachel cannot pinpoint the moment Jess became part of the “gator girls”, but couldn’t imagine it any other way! A few of them just got to take a trip to New Zealand to visit Jess and see the amazing country and life she has made there!
Wendy Evans

Rachel’s roommate at Fort Campbell and one of her best friends from the Army. Wendy was a rock for Rachel during her FYGVE year with the Army, not only emotionally in commiserating in the misery, but cooking great food and writing awesome workouts. Rachel has made a tradition of doing Thanksgiving with Wendy and her family, and has now brought Mike into the fun.
Hilary Evans

One of Rachel’s besties that she met during her time at Fort Campbell. Hilary is the mom that makes sure everyone is taken care of, and also the bad influence that helps Rachel sneak Oreos and Frappuccino’s behind Wendy’s back.

One of Mike’s friends from college (Indiana University). Mike met Adam while he was playing for the club ultimate frisbee team. Adam’s roommate at the time was fellow club ultimate frisbee teammate and groomsman, Peter Lemack. Mike and Adam got to know each other over a frisbee team spring break trip to Florida and the rest is history. Since graduating, they continue to bond over golf, craft beer, and sporting events.

One of Mike’s friends from college (Indiana University). Mike met Peter while playing for the club ultimate frisbee team. Mike and Peter got to know each other over midnight practices at the Mellencamp pavilion, tournaments, and parties at the frisbee team house.

Mike and Josh got to know each other over midnight practices at the Mellencamp pavilion, tournaments, and parties at the frisbee team house. They continue to bond over craft beer and the great outdoors.

One of Mike’s friends from college (Indiana University). Mike met Alex through a mutual friend during his freshman year. Mike and Alex lived together off campus for junior/senior year and share far too many memories to recount. See if you can get him to tell you one over a drink.
Drew Kelham

One of Mike’s friends from college (Indiana University). Mike met Drew during his first week of grad school. Together they spent 2 years studying and surviving their MBA program, which included cramming for finals with beers in hand and watching basketball games at Nick’s.
Garrett Broadnax

One of Mike’s friends from high school. Mike met Garrett after he transfer from Houston, Texas. They shared a lot of the same classes and quickly bonded over their shared passion for basketball and music.
Mike Becka

One of Mike’s friends from high school. Mike and Mike both lived in South Holland, IL and went to school together for a year without knowing it. They met through mutual friends in high school after they had both moved to Munster, IN. They continue to bond over the Chicago Cubs, but argue over the Indiana vs Purdue rivalry.
Joe O’Brien

One of Mike’s friends from grade school. Mike and Joe both attended St Thomas Moore and were involved with the church. They later realized they had a lot of friends in common and started spending more time together. They continue to bond over golf and the Green Bay Packers.
