Henry Francis Rundio IV is the son of Henry Rundio III and Sandy Rundio. He grew up in North Carolina and was an avid baseball player making it as a D1 athlete for Gardner Webb University. Olivia Elizabeth De Gracia is the daughter of Roberto De Gracia and Ginger De Gracia. She is actually from Charlotte, NC and was not a D1 athlete.
Henry and Olivia met while climbing at Inner Peaks in Charlotte, NC. While we don't remember the exact date, as we weren't friends right away, Olivia can remember the first time speaking/noticing Henry. It wasn't until years later, that Olivia softened to the idea of Henry and they met yet again at Rumbling Bald. A few weeks later, Henry (ever the friendly individual) invited Olivia to "tag along" and climb outside. During this conversation they also connected over going to the same church and Henry invited Olivia to join.
"I did the damn thing" - Henry. After two years of dating and relocating to Colorado together, Henry told Liv they were going to look at some boulders after church. At the top of Flagstaff Mountain, nowhere near any climbable boulders, Henry knelt near a puddle and proposed.
When it came down to our wedding, what mattered most was the vows we took in the presence of God. Due to present circumstances and living miles away from family + friends, we've decided to elope. We will be married by Joshua Leftwich (Olivia's eldest brother-in-law) in a private ceremony and celebrate with our parents and siblings in Boulder, Colorado.
