We're getting Married!!

Sam and Rumela met online. At the time Sam lived in the heart of the Silicon Valley while the Big Apple had Rumela's heart. Neither of them would have scripted their story the way it played out. Sam initiated. Rumela took her time to respond. Emails led to messages, which led to phone calls, which led to FaceTime sessions, which led to dates in person, and ultimately they committed to being exclusive on June 8th 2016. A relationship first for the both of them, all glory to God who worked and continues to work all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. While not always rainbows and butterflies, they easily learned that opposites can attract and not so easily affirmed that relationships need work to die to selfishness and stubbornness that independence tries to afford. Their preferences vary. Sam loves the outdoors and is a tennis fanatic while Rumela is content reading a book on the couch. Sam loves surprises and is a child at heart while Rumela is more subdued. Sam is an introvert and likes smaller group settings while Rumela is more of an extrovert and loves larger crowds. Sam states his palette is too refined for seafood while the Bengali in Rumela can eat baked salmon every night of the week. While they differ in many ways, their core belief and life's mission is unified in that they live to bring glory and honor to their Heavenly Father. The foundation of their relationship is rooted in their love for Jesus Christ. As they look forward to saying their vows and committing to choose each other for this lifetime, they do so in humility knowing they need to be empowered with the fruit of the Holy Spirit to carry them forward.
