Love is like a friendship caught on fire!

Our lives have been a journey, testament and a testimony to many. God never makes mistakes! He knows that we are not perfect and that’s why there is a backup plan. He took the time to orchestrate our past, present and future so that we can fulfill our God-given purpose. It was about five years ago that we both were faced with health and life challenges. They bonded us together in a unique way to the point that we can’t even express. We have encouraged, counseled, supported and prayed for each other throughout our friendship. With that, it became a healing process for us mentally, physically and spiritually. As we got to know each other during our friendship, we noticed that we had a lot in common and our personalities complimented each other. We saw that we had similar goals and were heading in the same direction. That brought us closer, to the point that people started to link both of us together as husband and wife before the thought even crossed our minds. There were times God would send confirmation through a word of wisdom to tell us that our friendship was not of our own choice, but a divine appointment and purpose. In these past five years, we have encountered people that would confirm that we should be together, ask what we were waiting for to get married, and knew who was the cook in the house. . .we always laughed! However, the final confirmation that sealed the deal was when Joe and I visited a church in Miami Gardens. The pastor called us out, prophesied that we are joined together in a union ordained by God, and that we are called to ministry. We are both so thankful to God, that we now embrace the prophecy in marriage.
