What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive by 5:15 pm. The doors open at The Dogwood starting at 5:00 pm.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided for guests to and from Element (Hotel) to The Dogwood (Venue). The shuttle will pick up guests from the hotel at approximately 4:45 pm and 5:05 pm and will shuttle guests back to the hotel as needed until 10:30 pm. Also, Ubers and Lyfts are common/easy to get in St. Louis. So, those are an option if you want to leave at a different time or from a different location.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. There is a terrace, which will be available during the cocktail hour and reception. The terrace will have a fire pit or heaters, if needed.

Where do I park?

Answer

FRIDAY: You can park in the Family Care Health Center parking lot (located at 4352 Manchester Ave; St. Louis, MO). The Dogwood has no event scheduled for Friday. This allows our guests (beginning at 5pm Friday) to have access at no charge. Urban Chestnut also has a parking lot for its patrons. Street parking is available for a fee. SATURDAY: You can park in the Family Care Health Center parking lot (located at 4352 Manchester Ave; St. Louis, MO). The Dogwood will provide security in this parking lot during our ceremony and reception.

Should I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you leave the picture taking to our wonderful photographer! You can put your phone on silent, sit back, and relax.

Do I need to worry about carrying my coat?

Answer

The Dogwood will have a coat check for you when you enter, so no need to worry about lugging around your coat during festivities.

Since the venue is two floors, is there an elevator?

Answer

Yes, there is an elevator located near the bathrooms for guests to use.

Is there an after party?

Answer

We will continue the celebration at The Element-Midtown rooftop bar (UpBar STL) until 1 am. The bar accepts both cash and cards.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please fill out the allergies and dietary restrictions question when RSVPing for the reception. You can also share if you are vegan or vegetarian when completing the RSVP.

What color are bridesmaids' dresses?

Answer
