We met at an Athletic Leadership event that took place at Maple Grove High School. We were assigned to the same group and of all the people each of us met that day, we only remember one another. We never saw each other again until after graduating high school. Both of us attended Jamestown Community College and had classes together. We became friends and talked on and off throughout the years until timing was right and we really reconnected in the summer of 2022. Our first unplanned little date after work at Rita's Italian Ice lead to us dating by September 6, 2022.

The Great Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg, TN found a special place in both of our hearts. The trees, mountains, and country atmosphere made it a magical place. As one of our favorite destinations for a long weekend trip, we decided to make it an important chapter in our story. At an elevation of 5000 feet with a hidden photographer, our lives became closer to one and the wedding planning began!
