we're getting married!

It all started in 2013 when Sam and Jarred were in 8th grade. While he won't admit to it, Jarred had a crush on Sam and that has been confirmed by multiple sources (including their 8th grade English teacher). Fast forward to 2016 when junior prom dates are a hot topic. After years of being friends and talking for months, Jarred asked Sam to the dance. They continued to let their feelings grow, and 3 weeks later they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Managing a 3.5 hour distance away at college for 5 years, they stayed inseparable. Whether it was Jarred traveling to Rider for Sam's sorority formals, or Sam traveling for fun nights out in Towson, they made it a point to see each other as much as possible. In the blink of an eye they graduated college and were back to Colonia in 2021. They began their adult lives with full-time jobs, saving money, and cherished memories spent with close friends and family. Sam has always had it all planned out, but was shocked to her core on Sunday, November 3, 2024 when a date at a brewery turned into their proposal. Jarred surprised her in the best way, with a beautiful ring, a hidden photographer, and a party after to celebrate. The two (more so Sam) quickly began planning and within just a few weeks had booked almost everything for their big day. Over the next 2 years, they would plan some more, buy their first home, celebrate many other couples, and enjoy each moment together. Whether its a new restaurant to explore, a sporting event to attend, Sam dragging Jarred to Target, or a cozy night in, they love spending time together are truly best friends. They cannot wait to see what the future holds as newlyweds!
