Question

I'm driving to the wedding, where can I park?

Answer

Parallel parking on Main Street is available but it is limited and highly competitive. There is a three hour time limit. CHINA BRIDGE PARKING LOT - 222-228 Swede Alley, just behind Main Street has the most parking capacity. It is a 0.3 mile walk to Kimball Terrace which will take about 6 minutes. 825 MAIN STREET GARAGE - 825 Main Street, one block south of Kimball Terrace. DIAMOND PARKING GARAGE(S) Multiple locations on Main Street. Closest lot to Kimball Terrace is 780 Main Street lot which is a 2 minute walk to the wedding venue. There is also a lot on 693 Main Street. Spaces can be reserved in advance at all Diamond Parking Lots.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm so we ask all guests arrive by 4:50pm.

Question

Traveling to and From Park City

Answer

It's roughly a 35-minute drive to downtown Park City from the Salt Lake City Airport. Ubers to Park City are easy to get and reasonably priced (typically $40-$60 for a one-way trip). Renting a car would only be necessary if you are extending your stay or plan on traveling outside of the downtown Park City area.

Question

Does Park City have Uber/ Lyft?

Answer

Yes! Both are very accessible and reliable. In addition, Park City Transit is a FREE transit system serving various locations within Park City/Deer Valley. Routes and schedules can be found here : https://www.parkcity.org/departments/transit-bus/routes-schedules

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No, but having a car would be beneficial if you wish to venture beyond Park City to visit other resorts and popular hiking destinations.

Question

What can I expect with the altitude in Park City?

Answer

Up in the Wasatch Mountains, Park City is at an altitude of 7000-8300 feet. We recommend drinking plenty of water!

Question

What can a first-timer expect in Park City?

Answer

As a first-timer in Park City, you can expect a charming mountain town with something for everyone, whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or prefer to enjoy walking around Main Street/relaxing. The town of Park City itself has a lively Main Street filled with boutique shops, art galleries, and great restaurants. It gets quite popular so please make accomadation reservations in advance!

Question

Will the ceremony be taking place outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, before moving indoors for the reception. The average high and low in September is ~71° / ~41°, and the air is dry. We are in the mountain at elevation so it can become brisk at night. We recommend come coming prepared with a jacket, wrap or coat for the weekend.

Question

Is this an adult-only wedding?

Answer

Yes, we hope parents will enjoy their well-earned night off!

For all the days along the way
