How do I check in?

Answer

Please bring your invitation. Tell the receptionist if you are guest from bride side or groom side. Give the red envelopes to receptionist, please also write your name on the back of the envelope.If you bring a gift, you may also drop off in the gift- box at check-in.

What is a red envelope?

Answer

In Chinese culture,guests gift red envelopes to new couples to congratulate them.It’s usually in brand new bills in round numbers. i.e. $100. This implies bringing good fortune and the fund helps the couple to start a new family.

What’s the dress code?

Dress code is formal.suit and tie minimum,tuxedo is welcome.:)

What food is offered?

Answer

Food is Buffett style, 3 main dishes including beef , chicken, salmon and 8 salads.No nuts.If you are strict vegetarian please feel free to bring your own food or eat before coming.

Do you have wedding registry?

Answer

No, we don’t. In traditional Chinese wedding, guests bring red envelopes, if you bring a gift you can drop off at the reception desk in the gift box.

12:00pm-1:00pm Cocktails, photo with couples 1:00-1:15pm Grand entrance , ceremony 1:15pm lunch starts 2:30pm lunch ends 2:30-2:45pm First dance Cake cutting 2:50pm-3:10pm Bouquet and garter toss 3:10-5:00pm dancing/game/party/impromptu performance
