Sarah and Johnny want to give all the glory to God for bringing them together for this special occasion. While Johnny grew up in Philadelphia, West Virginia, and St. Croix, Sarah spent most of her years in Kansas City. After college, Johnny moved to Missouri as an active duty officer serving at Whiteman AFB, and Sarah moved back to Kansas City to start her new job at Black & Veatch. Despite being 30 miles apart their paths did not overlap during this time... A few years later, Johnny moved to LA. While Sarah spent a month out there during the same time, their paths still had yet to cross.... In June of 2023, Sarah moved to Vero Beach, FL to work as a recruiter at a solar construction site, leaving the calm corporate world for the crazy world of construction. In July of 2023, Johnny moved to Viera, FL to work at Patrick SFB, just an hour north of Sarah. In September of 2023, they both connected on Hinge, and were drawn to each other's fun, adventurous personalities and love for God. On their first date, they went to Sarah's church, got sushi (Johnny's favorite), kayaked on the Indian River to find some geocaches, and ended the day at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean. From there, Johnny continued to love and serve Sarah by driving down to Vero Beach for a meal or beach time amidst Sarah's crazy schedule. A few highlights in their relationship from Sarah's perspective were Johnny's homemade steak dinner on the third date, Magic Kingdom at Christmas time, and our good friend Abby's wedding at Zion National Park. They are excited to begin their new journey of life together on the Florida Space Coast near the place where they first met!
