Our Story

Chloe and John met in July 2022 on a Christian dating app — a match made in heaven, with a little help from the App Store. John had just moved from Texas to LA after graduating from Texas A & M, and Chloe had moved to San Diego after Purdue to be near family. Their first date was on the Hermosa Beach Pier with Baked Bear cookies, but since they lived 1.5 hours apart, weekends quickly became their routine. John soon became a familiar face at Chloe’s parents’ home, the only place with a spare bedroom. After a year of long-distance, Chloe moved to LA, and they spent the next 2.5 years exploring California — national parks, beach bike rides, and the reality of California taxes. God blessed them with a strong church community and premarital counseling that deepened their understanding of marriage. John designed Chloe’s ring from start to finish. On November 8, 2025, he proposed at Hermosa Beach, where it all began. They’re so grateful to celebrate their wedding with loved ones this March.
