Question
What are the COVID protocols or requirements?
Answer
We are under the direction of the state of Maine on any applicable requirements to host a gathering of this size. If you are not vaccinated, we ask that you take a COVID test prior to attending the wedding and obtain negative test results within 48-72 hours of the wedding. Of course, if you are feeling under the weather the week of the wedding, we politely ask that you use your best judgment and take a test or stay home to avoid spreading anything. We hope that everyone stays healthy and is able to make it, but please keep us posted if your plans change!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Due to space restrictions, and to allow all of our guests to relax and enjoy the night off, we have chosen to make our special day adults-only. We thank you for your understanding.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We kindly ask that guests follow a semi-formal dress code: cocktail/semi-formal dresses and suits & ties.

Why are you getting married in a temple?
Answer
The Ocean Park Temple is an interdenominational building that is used for a variety of cultural, educational, and religious programs, but is now most frequently used for protestant Christian services. This unique building is very special to us, as we met across the street from it at Christian Youth Conference and attended church services at the Temple for many summers!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! Please see our "Travel" page for some of our handpicked recommendations. We do not have a room block anywhere, but have identified accommodations at a variety of price-points and locations. Of course, you are always welcome to look for other hotels, Airbnb's, etc. - there are a lot out there! If you know that you can definitely make it to the wedding, we encourage you to book your housing as soon as possible! It will be Memorial Day Weekend, so we want to make sure things don't get too expensive or sold out.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Short answer: kind of! If you know us, you know that we value memories and experiences far more than material items. For this reason, we have primarily focused our registry on a Honeymoon Fund that will help bring our dream honeymoon to life. You may choose to contribute what you wish to our overall fund, or there are also options to purchase concrete experiences such as a snorkeling excursion or a nice dinner. That said, we are still working on adding some of our favorite home items to the registry, as well!
