To get to Sayulita from PV you have several options: 1. Bus-cheapest! If you don’t have too much luggage, bus is a good opt. It is a funky, MX bus that will give you a real taste of MX culture and is only 30 pesos from the airport bus stop right in front of the arrivals area on the highway. To catch the bus from the airport, cross over the highway using the pedestrian bridge. Look for the name “Sayulita” written with a white marker pen on the windshield of the bus. You’ll need 30 pesos per person for the driver. Buses come every 20 mins. The 22-mile bus ride from PV to Sayulita takes approx 1 hour. “Sayulita” is written with a white marker pen on the windshield 2. Taxi- avail @ airport approx $50 3. Private Car- $65 each way with a stop at super market and free beers- this is what we do. Email for company we recommend: amanecersayulita@gmail.com Email & tell them your arrival and dept. flight information & they will be there to pick you up! It's $130 rt & can take up to 7 people.

Flight

Fly into Puerto Vallarta airport code PVR-Gustavo

If flying in from the Bay Area Alaska Airlines has a ton of great flights including nonstop flights to PVR out of SFO. United also offers direct flight to PVR out of SFO. I checked round trip flight prices on 5/2/19 and they can be had right now for between $475 and $550 which is pretty decent. I have flown in with Alaska when they have promos which seems to be pretty often for less than $400 roundtrip. So if you are an extreme planner you may wanna buy now or if you wanna wait for a deal set yourself some travel alerts with the different airlines. I'm sure there are more options but these two airlines are the most popular for flying into PVR out of the Bay Area.
