Bret and Caitlyn met during their time in the Police Academy. And yes… before you ask, they were absolutely focused on learning how to protect and serve. But somewhere between the early mornings, long runs, and endless training, they managed to find something else too: each other. While learning how to shoot (mostly Caitlyn), fight, drive fast, and run until their legs felt like they might fall off, they also fell in love. What started as academy classmates quickly turned into an inseparable partnership, built on laughter, support, and a shared sense of adventure. Over the years, they’ve grown not only as individuals but as a family. Together they are the proud parents of two energetic and very opinionated dogs: Ranger, a German Shepherd, and Dakota, a Belgian Malinois. These two bring plenty of chaos, entertainment, and fur to their household. When they’re not busy with work or wrangling their four-legged children, Bret and Caitlyn share a love for NASCAR. Their Sundays are usually spent worshipping the Lord and then watching fast cars turn left, in that order. Their hobbies match their lifestyle: always moving, always doing something, and always grateful for the life God has given them. Through their careers, their faith, and their relationship, Bret and Caitlyn continue to grow into the best versions of themselves, with each other and for each other. At the heart of it all, they are best friends. And after every mile run, every challenge faced, every prayer answered, and every moment of laughter along the way, their journey has led them here.
