We’re Getting Married!

Never did we think that working at Texas Roadhouse would bring anything other than PTSD from peanut shells & being asked if “we love our job” too many times, but nonetheless, it brought us to each other. We started out as friends and as the years went on, we went our separate ways until FINALLY during Lauren’s Junior year of college the relationship was rekindled over breakfast at the Dog House Diner! Now are we not only best friends and significant others, we are forever a team and a family. We saw each other through long working hours, undergraduate and graduate school, and new career paths. Along the way, our happy little family grew with the addition of two amazing dogs, and two amazing cats… and the rest is history!

On the final evening of our trip to Virginia Beach with family, we decided to take a sunset walk on the beach. While Lauren was drawing in the sand (as usual), she decided to draw our names. Kaleb saw this opportunity and took a photo holding out a ring while Lauren faced away finishing up the heart next to our names. To cover it up, he took a photo once she finished writing the names, showed it to her, and asked her to swipe to the next picture to “see if she liked it better”. To her surprise, when she swiped the photo, it was the original photo he took with the ring in it. He then got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course, the answer was yes!
