One blessed Friday evening, after a long work week and heavy traffic commutes, we each found ourselves at a 24hr Fitness in Redlands, California, to 'work out' the stresses of the week. After darting glances and sneak- peeks of one another, we quickly found ourselves in a sparkly conversation that left butterflies in our tummies and grins from ear-to-ear. Each knowing that we just had to have more conversation, we walked across the parking lot for a sushi dinner that turned into an evening of laughing, story-telling and admiration for one another. From that day forward, each and every dinner and date only plunged us deeper and deeper into desire for an eternity of evenings spent together.
Rudy loves planning surprises! On this particular Saturday afternoon, there was a 'surprise' event to be ready for later on in the evening, so to pass time we would be going to the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific. We both appreciate and admire the aquarium for the plethora of beautiful and exotic sea creatures and Renee especially, for all the facts and education it provides; so naturally, during a live scuba divers presentation, she was delighted to be chosen as a 'volunteer' to answer questions at the end of the presentation. Engaged in the presentation and eager to answer all quiz questions correctly, Renee's back was turned to the aquarium until the very end when she was asked to turn around and answer one last, very important question...... and there was the question, lingering on a bold sign the scuba diver had on display... RENEE, I LOVE YOU. WILL YOU MARRY ME?? We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Palm Springs!
