They met at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner in September of 2019. Over the next week Rudy asked multiple times for a date with Meghan, but was turned down. That next weekend, they found themselves at the same bar on the night Rudy was celebrating his birthday and Meghan was getting drinks with friends. After that weekend, she finally agreed to go on a date with him, and they had their first date at Bruster’s on September 23. After dating for almost 2 months, Rudy asked Meghan to be his girlfriend on November 10th, at their favorite place, Longwood. The next 4 years were a whirlwind of times that consisted of traveling, loss, new jobs, adding new pets to their “zoo”, making new friends, and growing together. On June 16 of 2023 Rudy asked Meghan to marry him at no other than their favorite place, Longwood, by the same tree that he had asked her to be his girlfriend. They have since been planning their big day to celebrate their marriage with all of their closest friends and family.
