Kevin and Rudy met the good ole fashioned way— the apps. After a month or so of chatting and not meeting up, they finally made the time to meet each other. The exact date is still up for debate. Kevin swears it was March 12, 2017, a Sunday. Rudy swears it was not. The world may never know. The early days were spent watching March Madness and they often reference the crying kid from Northwestern as the beginning of their relationship. Rudy wasn’t looking for anything serious at the time being a busy graduate student at Carnegie Mellon while Kevin was open to the possibility of more. Well, that brings us to now— 9 years later they’re making it official. The two have lived in Pittsburgh, New York, Philadelphia, Collingswood, and now Boston.

Kevin and Rudy fell in love with New England really fast. From early on in his Michigan days, the thought of owning the cabin “up North” was always a desire of Rudy’s. A personal goal for 2023 was to purchase property. They ended up stumbling upon the town of Thornton, NH for an open house after seeing a few other homes that just were not it. In true fashion, sales manager Rudy was not going to lose this deal. In February 2023, they closed on their cabin and shortly after realized there was a resort just 10 minutes down the road! One night they went out to dinner at Panorama Six82 where they saw a wedding occurring at the venue next door. And 8 months later they secured 09/05/2026 at The Lakehouse at Owl’s Nest Resort.
