Our paths first crossed on a typical football Sunday in Hoboken, NJ, in October 2019. A fast friendship formed as naturally as rooting for our favorite teams, and we both felt a comfortable ease around each other. Fast forward to March 2020—when COVID hit, we decided to escape the NYC chaos and headed down to Hilton Head, SC. We packed for a “two-week getaway” that turned into a wild two-month stay. During that time, our bond grew strong over fishing trips, bike rides, late-night golfing excursions, and questionable cooking experiments. Soon after, we met each other’s families in our home states before heading back to New Jersey that July. When Jon moved back to Kentucky, we took on the adventure of long-distance. It was hard but made our visits all the sweeter. While attending a friend’s wedding in Ireland two years later, Jon asked me to move to Kentucky and build a life together. I said yes, and our little life began. Over the years, we’ve made memories renovating our home, adopting our adorable pup, Jersey, and having our share of fun, laughter, and maybe a few too many trips to Lowe’s. And in October 2024, we came full circle back to Hilton Head, where Jon got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Now, we can’t wait to continue this adventure—together, always.
We wouldn’t be us without you. From day one, your love and encouragement have been the foundation of our journey together. Now, we can’t wait to share this special moment with all the people who’ve made our lives so full. Thank you for being part of our lives—let’s make this day one we’ll always remember! Cheers, Danielle & Jonathan
