Q&A

The Wedding Website of Samantha Thompson and Gregory Rudd
We have included our answers to some of your anticipated questions below! If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to Greg and/or Sam directly.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our wedding is a black-tie affair. We ask that ladies wear a floor-length evening gown and gentlemen wear a black tuxedo and bow tie.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP no later than November 20th.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If a plus one has been allotted to you, your name and your guest's name will appear on your invitation.

Question

Are my children invited?

Answer

While we adore your children, please note that our wedding will be an adult only event. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00PM. We ask that you arrive to the venue at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony.

Question

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

There is very limited parking near the venue. Please note that Mae District is a five-minute drive from both hotels where we have room blocks: the Marriott Marquis and the Hyatt Regency. We strongly recommend using Uber or Lyft!

Question

Can I take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having a strictly unplugged ceremony. We ask that all guests silence and/or turn off their phones and refrain from taking any pictures or videos during the ceremony. You are more than welcome to capture the evening during the cocktail hour and reception!
