We’re getting married!

Our story begins in the beautiful emerald city of Seattle Washington in the year our Lord 2018 in late March early April. Russell and my relationship began in an interesting way, the first time we met we wore the exact same red and black flannel. A few weeks later, I witnessed Russell's baptism and two days later I followed suit. Even before we knew each other, we were intrinsically linked in some special way. After a few months of joining our campus fellowship, META Campus Ministry, Russell and I sprouted a close friendship. Each of our class schedules aligned perfectly having the same breaks and classes located in the same area. This gave us plenty of time to converse, laugh, and nurture our growing friendship. Months of jokes, spiritual discussions, and study sessions developed in our hearts a desire for more than just friendship. And after a year of best friendship, on October 26th 2019, during a campus ministry retreat at the foot of Mt. Rainier Russell, after putting together an extensive and incredibly fun scavenger hunt, asked me to be his girlfriend! I, of course, said yes! Little did we know all God had instore for us the following years. It would take a whole novel to put to words everything we experienced. In short, moving to a new city, Chicago, growing into our roles as region leaders, and learning how to navigate post college life. After two years and one month of pure dating on December 11th 2021, Russell took a knee to ask me to be his bride. And again, I said YES! This is just the start of our love story God is authoring for us. We are excited to share our new beginning with you! Thank you for all the support and prayers.
