No, there is not a formal Welcome Party on Friday. But, we encourage guests to check out the downstairs pool bar at The Colony — the Marine Room. The wedding party will be meeting here after the Rehearsal Dinner concludes around 8-8:30pm. This will be a cash bar. We look forward to kicking off the weekend with you!
If you choose to stay on-site, The Colony has plenty of room for our guests, but does not do a formal room block. This is where the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held. You can stay in either the historic portion of the hotel or the new modern addition. Please make sure you specify when you book. If you are looking for a more cost effective option, we have a block of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn Kennebunk Kennebunkport. This is a ~20 minute drive to The Colony. Please reference the Travel tab for the booking URL / discount code. Transportation from the Hampton Inn will be provided. ***We highly recommend booking as soon as possible. Kennebunkport lodging books up quickly in the summertime.***

Yes, we will have round-trip transportation from our room block at The Hampton Inn to The Colony. The shuttle schedule will be provided as we get closer to the big day!
The dress code for our wedding is Black-Tie Optional / Formal. Ladies: Long dresses, fancy cocktail dresses below the knee, and dressy jumpsuits preferred. Gentlemen: Dark suits with ties or tuxedos!
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding to adults only, with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to take the night off and enjoy yourself, you deserve it!

Yes, the Colony Hotel has a parking lot, and you will be able to park at the hotel for the duration of the Ceremony, Cocktail hour & Reception.
While Kennebunk/Kennebunkport is very walkable, please keep in mind Lyft/Uber can be limited. If you are looking for additional transportation, we recommend a Ride Share service called Ride Maine. Check out their website to request rides and more information: https://www.ridemekpt.com/ ***Ride Maine is NOT available on Friday/Saturday nights in the summer unless planned at least a week in advance!***
