Yes, apparently you can find love at a frat party. We met in the spring of 2015 during both of our sophomore years of college. Neither of us were looking to be in relationships at the time between classes, working, greek life, and spending time with friends. After meeting and getting to know each other, we realized that even though we have quite opposite personalities, we had the same goals in life, we valued the same things, and both admired how the other was quite dedicated to their studies. It wasn't long before friends were starting to notice we wouldn't leave each other's sides. Fast forward 8 short years and now we're (finally) planning a wedding to spend time with our family and closest family members. To say that our lives have been full during these past 8 years would be an understatement. Just a short list of life events that have made our relationship stronger include: starting and ending long distance from California to Portland, Sarah moving to Portland, sharing our first tiny Portland apartment together, first corporate jobs, job changes, a global pandemic, and the stressors of day to day life. Through all of life's highest highs and lowest lows, we've never wavered from our commitment to each other. We're so excited to start this next chapter in our lives together. Although we know we already act like an old married couple, we are thrilled to take our next steps of "firsts" as husband and wife. We know that whatever the universe throws our way, we'll be able to navigate anything together.
