In the midst of the pandemic, Ruchika and Sean's paths crossed through mutual friends, unaware of what the future held for them. Sean, sweaty from housework at his uncle's new place, somehow still had Ruchika a little smitten. Shortly after their first run in, Sean sent Ruchika an Instagram DM, a small but bold step that set the course for something special. After a few conversations filled with shared interests and laughter, Sean invited Ruchika to brunch. But, being the responsible person she is, Ruchika needed to get the approval of her trusty sidekick Kona, her adorable pup. To Sean’s relief, Kona gave her stamp of approval right away, and let’s be real, she might just love Sean more than Ruchika now! With Kona’s blessing, the two began spending more time together - exploring the outdoors, going on hikes, having picnics, and discovering cozy patio restaurants. As the dates passed, it became clear that they had a true connection. What started as a simple message grew into a relationship fueled by a love for travel, new adventures, great food, and most of all, each other. Fast forward four years: Sean proposed during our three-week European vacation, at sunset on a beautiful cliffside viewpoint in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Together, we've navigated learning what it’s like to live together, a new job, raising Kona together, and buying our first home. We're so excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to continue this journey together!
