Question

Covid safety?

Answer

The wedding will be fully vaccinated (for adults). If you don't expect to have had your final dose by July 3rd (two weeks before the date), we'll find another way to celebrate from afar!

Question

Where can I find directions to the various venues?

Answer

You can find directions and addresses by copy + pasting this link: Friday evening dinner: Mazama Community Club (down the road from the Mazama Store) Saturday wedding ceremony & reception: Bear Claw (Whiting's parents' house) Sunday brunch: Bear Ridge (Whiting's grandparents' house, up the hill from the Bear Claw)

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in Mazama varies but July is usually in the 70s or 80s and cooler at night. We recommend that you check the weather a few days before coming, just in case!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be outdoors! We will have a tent in case of rain, but please bring layers for the evening.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for Saturday is semi-formal (as Whiting said, "appropriately vague"). We want you to be comfortable and look fab! The ceremony and reception will both be outside, so please bring a jacket as temperatures tend to dip a bit at night. Friday dinner and Sunday brunch are both casual.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

- Clothes for Friday evening (casual), Saturday evening (semi-formal and outdoors so bring layers!) - Hiking clothes if you plan on hiking - Swimsuit if you want to take a plunge in the icy Methow river

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your RSVP page says “and Guest,” then yes; if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! Parking will be available at all venues. There will be signs to guide you. Please note that there is no Lyft / Uber in the valley, so you should plan on driving or catching a ride to all events. Let us know if you want help connecting with others who may be staying close by!
