Paul is Michael’s brother, and definitely got all the cool genes in the family. Michael and Paul share a love of music, craft beer, and sailing. Some of their best memories together are of getting sunburnt on the lake!

Ruby and Jacob became fast friends when Jacob started teaching at Berkeley Arts Magnet. They love working together, making their community more inclusive, and laughing about the silly things kids do. Whether hanging out at Happy Hour, dancing at MANGO, or grilling lobster together, they always know how to have a good time!

Gabe and Michael met when they lived in the same dorm building for a semester at Cal, but became much closer by playing in the same tabletop game group after graduating. Now, they hang out as much as possible by playing piano, going on double dates (even in Rome!), or grabbing a pizza at Arthur Mac’s.

Ruby and Andrea met at Saint Mary's when Ruby worked as the the Engaged Learning Facilitator for Andrea's classes. Little did they know they would soon be teaching at the same school and bonding over shared students. Now they like having mini adventures together, from taking the ferry to San Fransisco to drinking spiked hot chocolate while looking at Christmas lights.

The team so nice, they named it twice: Michael and Michael met on freshman move-in day at UC Berkeley and soon became close friends. Over the years, the Michaels have done a lot together, from backpacking, to traveling, to being co-presidents of their fraternity.

Ruby met Gina when she was Sonia's lab assistant at the California Academy of Sciences. They bonded over Pretty Little Liars and their love of Disney. Now Gina is Ruby's grown-up sleepover bestie!
Alex Horowitz

Alex was a few years ahead of Michael when they met at Cal. They started as frat brothers and became excellent traveling partners. They love exploring unfamiliar cities to find live music together! Now they live on opposite coasts but still try to see each other whenever they can.
