It was Christmas Eve and I had no idea where Mom and Dad were taking me. Don't get me wrong, I love a good car ride, but 4 hours? that's a bit much. I had just had my B-Fast and snuggled up against my favorite bone and squeaky pumpkin spice latte when BAM--out the door we go. Just as I was slipping in to my morning snoozle too. Un-be-lievable. But I wasn't too mad. Maybe they were taking me to the doggo park or to get some more treats. I like treats. 2 hours later we were still zoom zoom zooming away with no treats in sight. 3 hours and I was starting to get anxious. 4 hours and I was starting to get a little vocal >:) FINALLY we stopped by some weird house in a field. I wasn't sure where we were but I knew I needed to get outside and strut my stuff. Thats when Mom disappeared. I wasn't too happy about that but Dad gave my pets so I knew it was ok. A few minutes later Mom came back with a little fluff ball that looked a lot like me! At first I was a little nervous and when we got home it didn't get any better. Ruby (so she seemed to be called) tried to eat my Dinner! MINE! she had hers but she wanted mine. Don't worry. I stopped that REAL quick. but then Mom and Dad got mad. It was really confusing. The next morning, I learned that she liked to snuggle too, just like me! And she liked to chase squirrels like me! and she got the zoomies sometimes like me!!! It turns out we weren't so different after all! Some people say she's just a typical Husky, but that's not true. Ruby (or as I like to say, Ruby-Dooby-Doo) is my little sis and my best friend :)
