As long as you stay in downtown Portland, nope! We will have shuttles from downtown Portland to and from our ceremony. Outside of that, you can get around by foot.
Our ceremony is in Cape Elizabeth, which is a 15-minute drive from downtown Portland. We’ll have buses to shuttle you from downtown Portland to the venue and back.
We love your kids, but are having an adult-only wedding.
April 1, 2025
In Irish tradition, we'll be hosting a "day 2", which is a day party the day after the wedding. We have a beautiful patio rented for the afternoon, then will plan to bar hop around Portland.
For the wedding, formal attire (e.g. dresses/gowns, suits). For the day two, come as you are.
Maine is called Vacationland for a reason -- there's so much to see. A couple of recs: (1) Drive up to Acadia National Park. You can bike on carriage roads built for John D. Rockefeller, see the sunrise from the top of Cadillac Mountain, and explore oceanside Bar Harbor. (2) Hike Maine’s largest peak, Katahdin, and explore Baxter State Park (known for moose). Stop at Dysart’s Truck Stop in Hermon for pie on the way!
