Our Story

Hayden and Ruby met through the old-fashioned way of dating apps when they were at Cornell University in Dec 2018. He asked her to be his formal date, and she showed up at his graduation.

They went on many dates at wineries, gorges, and museums around Ithaca, NY after things became official in May 2019.

After Hayden moved to Las Vegas for Teach for America after graduation, they continued visiting each other where they lived.

Hayden and Ruby celebrated their first New Year's in Seattle, WA after they moved there for Ruby's PhD program at the end of 2021.

Ruby tried running and kayaking, some of Hayden's passions. Hayden joined Ruby on many of her food adventures.

They've attended many weddings together and can't wait to celebrate their own :)

They still frequented the East Coast to visit family and friends on occasions.

They have celebrated many birthdays together over the years with many more to go.

Hayden proposed to Ruby in April 2024 on San Juan Island. Their love story continues...
