We’re glad you asked. There’s not actually going to be a ceremony. We would prefer to avoid the pomp and circumstance that comes with a formal ceremony, and instead have a casual evening with our friends and loved ones to celebrate our marriage with us. We will tell each other how much we love each other and exchange rings before dinner. The actual signing of the documents will be done elsewhere at another time.
We think you’re perfect just the way you are! Bringing the Aloha spirit to the PNW come as casual or as formal as you wish. Just try not to show up naked, if you can avoid it ;) We’ll be wearing somewhat traditional bride and groom apparel, though, if that influences your decision at all.
Oh heavens! Please, no! I can’t even imagine the logistical nightmare of trying to get that back home to CT. In lieu of gifts, please donate to the broken unadoptable cat care fund on our registry page.
