Rubi and Lexi’s story was not Love at first sight, let me tell ya’. Although, it took a year for Rubi and Lexi to actually talk to each other, when they did, it was like they had known each other for years. From strangers to best friends, Rubi and Lexi grew closer, especially when they had their tequila and chisme nights, with some late night Whataburger on the side. As their feelings grew for each other, there was one thing that had Lexi hooked to Rubi for life… ENCHILADES VERDES!!! As everyone knows now, that meal will be the way to Lexi’s heart. Their love for one another grew even more for each other, from Rubi having to help out Lexi during the police academy by being an actor for DWI night; although, I think Rubi actually liked that part. Or Lexi helping Rubi study during nursing school, even if it was Lexi falling asleep 5 minutes into it. There has been many sacrifices during these short 5 years of being together, but it’s only made our love stronger and exciting. We are so excited for this next chapter and we couldn’t be more grateful for our village we have by our side.
