It all started in April 2022... Tyler went to eat at a bar where Rube happened to be working security. After a few laughs and conversation, they exchanged numbers. Unsure of where this was headed, both of them were hesitant to text at first but quickly found friendship in one another. They talked for hoursss on end, each looking forward to the next time they'd call and see each other. They traveled together, got the stamp of approval from family and friends, and the rest was history. They went ring shopping in 2025. On Christmas morning, with just the two of them and Rube's son, Rube got down on one knee and asked the million dollar question. It was such a special and intimate moment. They shared the news with loved ones and quickly went into wedding planning. What they love most? How easy it is to be around each other. They enjoy sharing meals, watching short series on Netflix, traveling, and riding around the city together. They have found peace and joy in one another, and have so many special moments and inside jokes between them. Attached at the hip, with God at the center, they can't wait to be husband and wife.
