Our story began on December 12th, 2010 at Three:16 Church (formerly Fortress Church) in San Antonio, TX. We met on this day when we were 12 and 13 years old while performing in a Christmas musical. We instantly became friends. Our friendship grew closer throughout middle school and high school until we were inseparable. By 2017, we were both living in Denton, TX, while attending the University of North Texas. At UNT, we were heavily involved in Chi Alpha Student Ministry and grew steadfast in our faith. After supporting each other through many hardships, we realized our intense feelings for each other. We spent many days and nights praying and asking God to guide our relationship according to His will. We received the Lord's blessing and confirmation that our union was one that He anointed. By the summer of 2020, with the blessing of our families, we made our relationship official. From then on, we experienced many highs and many lows together and stood faithfully by each other's side. From navigating post grad life in a pandemic, to grieving tremendous losses, to planting our roots in the marketplace and everything in between, our love and devotion grew stronger daily. We got engaged on November 21st, 2023. We have spent the past 14 years by each other's side, growing in love and friendship with every passing day. This wedding means more to us than the two of us becoming legally bound to one another - we believe that our wedding ceremony will serve as a sacrament, one that is holy and anointed by the Lord, and feel honored that each of you will be joining us as witnesses to our commitment to each other. Our wedding day has been a long time in the making, and we can't wait to celebrate with you all.
