The event is Formal or Black-Tie optional. This means floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses for women, and tuxes or suits with neckties or bowties for men. We encourage guests to dress in earth tones or jewel tones and to avoid neon or bright colored pallets!

This wedding will take place indoors! Besides the possibility of walking from parking to the building, there will be no outdoor activities.

Where can I park?Where can I park?

Answer

The reception venue offers garage parking with direct access to the Ohio Statehouse. Grab a ticket and park in any non-reserved spot on the green parking level. After you’ve parked, you’ll enter the statehouse through sliding glass doors where you will see a sign above the door that reads “OHIO STATEHOUSE”. Vouchers will be available during cocktail hour, just be sure to present your ticket AND voucher at the exit booth when leaving! *Please see travel section for Shuttle transportation*

The Statehouse is a post of the Ohio Highway Patrol. All guests will need to go through security when entering the building. There will also be two Ohio Highway Patrol Troopers at the reception.
