Answer

The wedding will take place on Saturday 30th August 2025 in Naas, Kildare. The church ceremony will take place at the Church of Our Lady & Saint David followed by a reception at Killashee House Hotel.

The ceremony begins at 1.15pm, but we ask that all our guests be seated in the church before 1pm.

The drinks reception starts at 2.30pm, but guests who are staying at the hotel can check in before the drinks reception.

Answer

The reception in the hotel is a 5-10 minute drive from the church, traffic dependent. There is parking at both the church and the hotel.

What does ‘Formal Attire (Black Tie Optional)’ mean?What does ‘Formal Attire (Black Tie Optional)’ mean?

Answer

This means that the wedding party will be dressed in Black Tie attire, and our guests are more than welcome to join us, but standard formal attire is more than fine.

Answer

No, our ceremony will be a Catholic wedding service rather than a Mass, so there is no expectation to dress differently than you would for any summertime formal-attire event.

Answer

We have a block of rooms booked at a reduced rate for guests who want to stay the night, most of which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. To avail of the reduced rate, call the reservations team on +353 45 879277 and let them know you're a guest of our wedding!

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate plus ones at the ceremony. However, all plus ones are more than welcome to join us for some dancing and cake at the evening reception.

Please RSVP by 10th June 2025.

Let us know when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of! Please note that the Main Course served will likely be a beef dish. If this is not to your taste, we advise you to input 'Vegetarian' when you RSVP.

Is there a gift registry?Is there a gift registry?

Answer

No, we do not have a gift registry as your presence is the greatest gift of all and the only gift we need! Anything on top of this is entirely optional and by no means expected. But for guests who would like to bring something along, any cards & gifts can be handed to one of our bridesmaids or groomsmen on the day for safekeeping. Alternatively, for guests who would prefer to gift a digital contribution, our honeymoon fund can be found on the 'registry' page of this website.

We don't currently have plans for a formal Day 2 event.
