Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire: Think cocktail dress, dressy sundress, dressy jumpsuit, dressy skirt and top, suit, dinner jacket and slacks. The biergarten faces west, but is air conditioned and has window shades. Consider an extra pair of comfortable shoes for walking across the bridge or down to the river.

The reception is in the biergarden section of a local microbrewery and restaurant: Moerlein Lager House, in downtown Cincinnati. It is next to Great American Ballpark, just a few blocks from Paul Brown Stadium, & is an approximately 15 minute drive or less from the church. There is paid parking in the garage directly below the restaurant. There is an elevator that will bring guests into the lobby of the restaurant. The biergarten is on the first level of the restaurant, with floor to ceiling windows offering a stunning view of Smale Park, the Ohio River & the famous Roebling Bridge into Kentucky. The biergarten is essentially an enclosed patio with immediate access to "the lawn" where guests can enjoy the fresh air & river view. Our semi-formal cocktail style reception will allow guests to mix & mingle casually & enjoy the view, while indulging in a variety of delicious bites such as Smoked Salmon Bruschetta, Brats & Sausages with Applekraut, & Brisket Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
