WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Alex and Roz swiped right at the end of summer in 2017. They were both very busy with their work and had a few failed attempts to meet up until they finally agreed on a "Happy Hour" at the Wood Ranch in Camarillo. They quickly bonded over their love of food and building Lego. Alex's passion for fitness helped Roz to develop some new habits. She quickly learned that if she wanted to spend any time with Alex during the week, she had to go to the gym with him. Their long 2 hour+ workout sessions gave them plenty of time to bond. Roz and Alex love challenges, and during 2020, we seemed to always be doing something. A 6-week this, or a 30 day that. This not only helped keep to a schedule, but it gave us something to do together. We had an accountability partner next to us to encourage us when we needed it, and to steer when things were starting to go off course. After almost 3 years, Alex decided it was time. He planned to propose on the weekend of Roz's 27th birthday. He buried a ring in a treasure box along side the Pacific Coast Highway, and invited her brother, Zachary, and his best friend, Martin, to guard the ring while Alex picked up Roz. Roz was blind folded and led to an "X" made out of rocks in the sand. She had a stuffed penguin that she slept with that was placed in the middle of the "X" with a key necklace wrapped around it. Alex handed Roz the penguin, and started to dig in the middle of the "X". He pulled the buried treasure from the ground and asked Rozlyn to marry him, and she said "yes". :) She was then met with a surprise birthday party where she got to announce her engagement to some close friends, and whisked off to a weekend in Santa Barbara. Roz and Alex are saying "I do" on 12-11-21 in Simi Valley, CA with family and close friends.
