This resort is located in Costa Mujeres, which is part of the Cancun region. There is approximately 20-minutes drive from Costa Mujeres to Cancun city and 50 minutes to Cancun airport.

There are no restrictions on how or where you choose to book your trip to this resort. You can book through our travel agent, Melba Lapham, or other agencies of your preference. For our guests flying from Vancouver, a flight and hotel package is available from Monday November 25th, to Sunday, December 1st. This resort has a total of 570 rooms. While the number may seem plenty, given that there will be two weddings each night of our stay, 570 rooms may fill up quickly. Therefore, we strongly advise making your reservation as soon as you decide to attend. You have two options: the Family section (open to all ages) or the Elegance Club (for ages 18 and above). Feel free to book the option that suits your preferences. Further details about each reservation type are provided below

What dates should I book?

Answer

We will be staying at the resort from Nov25th- Dec1st.2024. The minimum stay a this resort is 3-4 nights. We recommend arriving by latest November 26th. Also, we have a Farewell party planned after the wedding on Friday November 29th. We would love it if all guest can join that party as well.

What is included in the reservation?

Majestic elegance is an all inclusive resort. This means that your room rate includes accommodation, food, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Differences between Family section & Elegance club (Adults only) section?

Family section: This section is for the guests of all ages. Guests from this section do not have access to a few places which are exclusive to Elegance club guests. Room categories: Jr. Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi) Sky View Suite (Rooftop with Outdoor Jacuzzi) One Bedroom Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi) Majestic Jr. Suite (Swim Up) Swim Up Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi) Jr. Suite Ocean Front (Outdoor Jacuzzi) The ELEGANCE CLUB is the ADULTS ONLY 18+ section of the resort. Elegance club guests will have access to all parts of the resort. Room categories: Elegance Club Jr. Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi) Elegance Club One Bedroom Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi) Elegance Club Majestic Jr. Suite (Swim Up) Elegance Club Swim Up Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi) Elegance Club Plunge Pool Suite Elegance Club Jr. Suite Ocean Front (Outdoor Jacuzzi) Elegance Club Plunge Pool Suite Ocean Front There are not many access limitations to guests from the family section. Main hang out areas at nights are the sport bar, the main lobby bar, the theatre and the patio area which events, performances and buffets are happening. These areas are available to guests from both family and adult side. The main places that Elegance club guests can only access are the Italian restaurant, the adult pool bar, and the piano bar. When we stayed at majestic, we found these restriction on guests from family side not heavily enforced. However, there is no guarantee that this would still be the case when we go there in November.

Are Children Welcome at the ceremony and reception?

We kindley ask parents to help us in keeping an adult only atmosphere during our special day, as much as possible. We would like parents to relax, take a well-deserved break, and enjoy the night with us. This resort has a complementary kids club with all sorts of games and activities under the supervision of qualified staff until 8:00 PM. The hotel guest services also works with babysitters that can be arranged for additional fees. If you are interested in this service, please email guestservice01.mecm@majestic-resorts.com. Do guests have to stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres?

Answer

We recommend staying at this resort. Aside from us missing the opportunity to spend more quality time with guests staying elsewhere, there are some restrictions at this resort for visitors. Because this resort is all-inclusive, they require visitors to purchase a day pass each time visiting. This day pass is only valid until 9:00 PM. This can become inconvenient and expensive. Also, joining the farewell party as visitors may be challenging since it will last past 9:00 PM.
