The hotel options in Vista are slim pickings. Airbnb would be my top recommendation if you want to stay close to the house. Our address is 2901 Harris Drive, Vista CA. There are some cool options in Vista and Bonsall which we border.

Hyatt Vacation Club At The Welk
The welk is the closest hotel to our house - about 15 minutes away. It has resort vibes and a great pool with a waterslide, the downside is that it is east of our house so there isn't much to do in the area.

The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa - Destination by Hyatt
If you want to stay in Oceanside, The Seabird is where we would want to stay. It's one of the nicer hotels and right by the water. It's a 26 minute drive to the house.

Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort
Carlsbad is a cute walkable beach city. The Carlsbad Inn has been around for a long time and I like it for it's more historic vibes. It also has beach access. Downdside is that it has a 2 night minimum and it is 27 minutes from the house.

The Cassara Carlsbad, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
The Cassara is one of the more budget friendly options that is still really nice. It's located in Carlsbad 29 minutes from the house.
