Chris and Tanya went to the same middle school and high school in Vernon, CT. They didn't have any social circles in common until he added Tanya on Snapchat (how romantic) in the year 2018. They went to Chris's junior prom together as friends and by the next year, they were dating when they went to his senior prom in 2019 (see photo in gallery). The couple became official on April 6, 2019. Since then, they did long-distance for 5 years while Chris joined the Marines and Tanya went to nursing school in Maine. Between visiting each other every 3 months or so and daily facetimes, they remained close and didn't let the distance get in the way of their relationship. They even made it through a 9-month deployment with minimal contact but still came out stronger for it! Chris and Tanya moved in together in May 2024 in a cute apartment in Rollinsford, NH. They brought home a little orange tabby named Gunther and have been loving being pet parents since. Chris proposed to Tanya on March 17, 2026 on the border of Maine and NH in Tanya's favorite park by the river at sunset <3. It was the perfect surprise before their 7 year anniversary! From growing up together to growing old together! We look forward to celebrating our love journey with all of you and can't wait for the next chapter of their lives together.
