Ashley and Cade met for the first time at a small gathering of shared friends in OKC in December of 2020. When the group played the "Name Game," where everyone writes down a name on a slip of paper and proceeds to take turns guessing who wrote down which name, Ashley and Cade both wrote down Charlie Brown. When it was Ashley's turn to guess, although she had only met Cade minutes before, she said: "Cade, are you Charlie Brown?" This was the first correct guess of the game, and Ashley joined Cade as a team of two. When she crossed the room and stood next to him, she whispered in his ear, "I'm the other Charlie Brown."
