Ameera and Bryston’s story began long before either of them knew just how meaningful it would become. Back in 2010, in the hallway of Roosevelt High School, they first crossed paths during an SAT practice test. Ameera was hard to miss because she had a cast on her leg after breaking her foot. When Bryston asked what happened, she casually replied that she broke it doing a backflip in a cheerleading show. That simple exchange sparked something neither of them could have predicted. Years later, in June 2014, their story truly began. What started as a connection grew into something much deeper as they navigated life side by side. Together, they experienced the ups and downs of growing into adulthood, learning hard lessons, supporting one another, and continuously choosing each other through it all. Their relationship became rooted in friendship, trust, and a shared sense of humor that still defines them today. Over the years, they built a life filled with meaningful milestones. In the summer of 2016, they moved from San Antonio to Austin, beginning a new chapter together. In 2017, they welcomed their beloved puppy, Bronx, into their lives, quickly becoming a central part of their story and the source of countless inside jokes. In February 2022, they took another big step and bought their home in Austin, creating a space that truly felt like their own. At the heart of it all, Ameera and Bryston are best friends. Ameera is a dreamer, always reaching for what is possible, while Bryston brings a steady, grounded presence, supporting those dreams and doing whatever it takes to help turn them into reality. Their love is built on balance, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to one another. In December 2024, Bryston planned a moment Ameera would never forget. At home, in a place filled with so many shared memories, he surprised her with a proposal that included a custom ornament, an intimate and thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected their relationship. It was a complete surprise, and an easy yes. From a high school hallway to building a life together in Austin, their journey has been years in the making. Through every chapter, one thing has remained constant. They have always had each other. On July 2, 2026, they look forward to beginning their next chapter, together, as they always have been.
