Stefanie and I met at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas in the fall of 2007. We quickly became friends over jamming out to Guitar Hero. (Stefanie played on expert.) After Stefanie moved away, we lost touch, but were still friends on social media. In late 2017, we began messaging on Snapchat (#millennialgoals) and decided to meet up again at Discovery Green in downtown Houston. We continued to message each other over the following months, and we had our first official date with Stefanie's grandma, Nana, in New Braunfels on April 21, 2018. Since then, we've moved in together and are working hard to normalize our cat, Sir, as we try to find creative ways to stay sane during these continuously unprecedented times!
