FLYING TO PENANG

It’s usually easier (and sometimes cheaper) to fly into Kuala Lumpur (KUL) or Singapore (SIN), but we highly recommend catching a quick 1-hour flight to Penang (PEN) for the final stretch. Make sure your passport’s valid, and don’t forget to check if you need a visa to enter Malaysia!

Travel Note

Travelling by Bus or Train

If you choose to spend some time in Kuala Lumpur before the wedding, you can also travel to Penang by train or bus. Trains are comfortable and reliable but will require you to take a short and inexpensive ferry to the island. If you’re traveling by bus, I highly recommend Aeroline.

Travel Note

All Over The Island

The wedding events will take place all over the island. While the venues aren’t all close to each other, Penang is relatively small and easy to get around. For a more touristic experience, we recommend staying in George Town. To get around, use Grab and try to carpool when you can. Buses are an option, but only if you’re not in a hurry!
