Maid of Honor
I meet Glenda at work, when I moved to San Antonio in 2018. When I first met Glenda, I had no idea she will become such an important person in my life. She is more than a best friend, she is a sister (from another island- Puerto Rico!). I love her so much and we have so much fun together. Her son ( Erik ) and my son ( Emmanuel) are like brothers, which I think is pretty cool. Glenda is one of the first person I think about when I am happy or sad. She has been there for me and I will do anything for her. We both love to dancing and She has been so supportive with our wedding. She is very generous, she went dress shopping with me and gift us our beautiful and perfect wedding cake. Thank you, Glenda.
Reba Hamlin
Bridesmaid
We meet during our first Deployment to Kuwait in 2016. We connected at a level that surprised me. During the deployment she was my rock and supportive friend. She always made me work out and staff. She is a fun and reliable friend. After the deployment our friendship continued and grew even more, despite the distance. We visited each other for birthdays, plan vacations together, have many long and deep conversations and consultations. I love her more than words can express, as a result, there was no question in my mind that I needed her as a bridesmaids on my special day!
Gabriella Felipe Romero

Gabriella is my 9 years old daughter. In fact, she will be turning 10 years old, 3 days after our wedding. Gabby is so sweet, creative and smart. Many people think she is a mini version of bride. So what best role for her than being our flower girl? Roy and Gabby have a magical relationship- but no unicorn's horns are allowed on my wedding!
Drake Pond

Drake is my sweet lil boy. His full name is Drake Asher Louis Pond. Asher means blessing in Hebrew named justly so because he is just that. Drake has a big heart and is the spitting image of me with his mom’s eyes. Drake has a big personality and I am so grateful for how well drake and gabby have bonded. They are both 9 years old and act like they have known each other for twice that long. I love you sweet boy.
Shawn Stager

Shawn and I met many years ago. We both reported to our unit on the same day and were instantly tossed into the fire and survived. I am so grateful to have met Shawn. He was their for the birth of my youngest son Drake and taught me how to correctly use a car seat. Even though our careers have moved of all around we have always stayed close and in touch and looked out for each other despite the assignment or geography.
Jared Bealer

Jared and I met randomly. He was the other half of a sweet girl I worked with. I met him when He moved to Texas from Carolina. His better half (Chrissy), mentioned he didn’t know anyone so I invited him to my dorm at Lamar University and he literary stayed for days. We quickly found out that we had a lot in common and became best friends. I was the best Man at his wedding and am very grateful that to have met Jared despite his choice to improve the population quality of the state of California.
Franchesca Sanchez -Romero

My beautiful niece Franchesca. She is just a beauty inside and out. She is the youngest daughter of my oldest sister Naomi and she will represent the Romero family as one of my bridesmaids.
Kevin Livingstone
Officiant
Kevin and his wonderful wife Amy lived down the street from Esther in San Antonio. Kevin known as the Bishop to us for most of the time we’ve known him has always been a strong mentor, wise counselor, and a kind and giving neighbor. Kevin has helped Esther and I through challenges and supported our family as if we were his own. When it came time to decide who would officiate our service Esther and I immediately agreed that we wanted only one person (Kevin) to share our special day with us. We are very blessed and honored to have Kevin and Amy in our lives.
Emmanuel Sorto
Groomsman
Emmanuel is the oldest of Esther’s children. A talented, and kind young man with a great sense of humor. Emmanuel quickly picks up anything he touches from sports, music, and artistic design. He impressed me when I first met him, he has a big heart and is very protective of those he cherishes. Emmanuel has accepted me and helps to counter the over emotional inhabitants (Esther and the Unicorn/Gabby) of the Romero Household as an ally and comrade (LOL). I am very humbled to have his acceptance and honored to watch him continue to grow.
Erik Rivera

Erik is the Son of Esther’s and my most amazing Amiga and Maid of Honor, Glenda. Erik is our adopted nephew and close friend with Emmanuel. Erik is a very polite, respectful young man and Esther and I am honored to have him in our wedding.
Erich Slaybaugh
Groomsman
I met Erich at JBLM in Washington State in the year of 2015. Erich and I were pulled into a unit to deploy overseas under difficult conditions (and that’s putting it politely). Erich and I had one conversation to discuss the reality of our situation. At the conclusion of that conversation Erich and I both realize we would be ok because we both knew without saying it that we would have each other’s backs. We both Learned a lot from each other and have remained close friends and brothers in arms since. Most notably, Erich taught me that bandaids don’t fix bullet holes (TS), which bear is best and most importantly that every real man has a truck-not-truck. I am honored to have Erich stand by me as a groomsman.

Manuelita is my fairy goddaughter and I am so proud of knowing her and being her friend. She has helped me so much over the past year. I am glad she gets to celebrate our wedding as one of my fairy bridesmaids.- she is magical !

Erika is our beautiful niece and she will be one of our flower girls. She is the youngest daughter of Esther’s sister America and her husband Heriberto. Erika will join us from Niagara Falls, New York as the most beautiful flowers of them all to decorate our wedding with her smile.
Joseph Acevedo- Romero
Usher
Joseph (Jojo) is our sweet nephew and he will be one of our ushers. He is the oldest son of Esther’s sister America and her husband Heriberto. Josep will be joining us from Niagara Falls, New York as our handsome usher. We can wait!
