We met at a drag king benefit show called Them Fatale Drag Kings: Latinx Lovers at REDLINE DTLA. Roxy was doing makeup and rehearsing while Taylor came in in a frenzy, trying to get ready for the show. Roxy turned to see them and instantly was smitten, but tried to play it cool (which they didn’t lol). Taylor ask them if they can put glue on their back and Roxy said yes and proceeded to do it with caution. Taylor thanked them and went on with the show. After their numbers, the two had a connection and checked each other out on numerous occasions. They met up again later in the night as Roxy’s friend, Lalo, was talking to Taylor at the bar. They exchanged Instagram handles and during the pandemic lock down, began to talk to one another. The two went on numerous virtual dates and after a months and a half of virtual dating, they officially met in person and exchanged their first hand touch and the following week, their first kiss.
