Chad and I first met when we were both working at Fred Meyer. I have always noticed him. He was the super tall guy with the man bun. Of corse I thought he was cute but when I was at work it was all about getting in and getting out. Except one night when he was training me how to close up all the registers. It was just him and I in the store and I could not wait to leave.. (I am not a night person) after we finished with the last couple customers in the store he walked over to me and started polite conversation, but that conversation quickly drifted away from boring conversation to him and I having wonderful conversation. I learned that he was friends with my cousin in High school and I became more interested. Later that week we saw each other in passing and he added me on Facebook. From there we talked almost every day. Our schedules were always weird so one night he waited for me to get off work and we went out to dinner at Red Robin. That night we talked for hours. It took a few days before we got to see each other again. I worked mornings and he worked nights. But this time it was my time to stay up for him. We had a movie night (except I slept through the whole movie and have no idea what we even watched) I woke up right as it ended. From there we have had our rough patches. 3 weeks into dating Chad broke up with me. Then realized he made a mistake and started texting me again. I blew him off cause I was crushed. Yet I saw him at work and all the feelers came back. A few months later it was my turn. I broke it off with Chad. This time it took us about a month to reconnect. (Even though I still texted him every few days) Chad gave radio silence on his end. But by the grace of God he brought us back together. I love you Chad more than anything in the world. You are a God fearing man who has bettered me more than you would ever know.
Roxy and I first met while working at Fred Meyer. I noticed her right off the bat, when I first saw Roxy talking to one of our managers I said “Anna who’s that, who’s that”. She never remembered any of our encounters while at Fred Meyer, I’m pretty sure she was just trying to avoid me or maybe she thought I was dumb since I was always trying to roast her about her wearing a leg brace and all she was doing was standing in a register. One night me and Roxy closed and we started talking she was telling me how she was super tired and she wasn’t use to staying up late. I laughed and thought weak sauce. We talked a lot and she told me lots of personal stuff about her life maybe she was just delirious from no sleep but we had a lot to talk about. My friend Katie who was my best friend to work with was telling me for about a year that I should try and find someone and how she couldn’t believe I wasn’t dating anyone. With that in mind I decided to ask Roxy to go out sometime and Roxy instantly responded with yes. Huh that was super easy usually girls don’t give me straight answers but then keep me thinking they like me but not Roxy she says it how it is. We had our first date at Red Robin downtown and hit it off. The funny thing was that I didn’t kiss her till like the 4th or 5th time we hung out and each time we got done hanging out her mom kept asking her “did he kiss ya yet”. We had our up and downs but in the end we knew we wanted to be with each other.
